Energy Management at UPEI works to improve energy efficiency on campus through projects and initiatives. The office works collaboratively with facilities management and other departments to reduce energy consumption and raise awareness of energy issues and concerns on campus.
UPEI is currently working with Direct Energy to complete an Energy Audit of campus. This is the first complete campus energy audit since 2000. Auditors will be installing monitoring equipment and visiting all areas of campus in the coming weeks to identify measures to improve energy efficiency on campus.
