The 2nd Annual Dump & Run was held at UPEI on April 24th, 2010. The Dump & Run is an initiative of the Environmental Society on campus and aims to reduce the amount of waste that goes to landfill at the end of the academic year. Each year, students discard many reusable items that they just don't wish to move. The Dump & Run collects these items, sorts them and re-sells or donates them to charity. The money raised goes to support other environmental initiatives on campus.
